| The present study was conducted with the aim of presenting the model of the effect of knowledge management and talent management on the performance of football coaches in West Azarbaijan province. The current research was in terms of interpretive philosophy, in terms of practical purpose, in terms of inductive approach, in terms of the selection of quantitative research and in terms of time frame. The statistical population of this research included all coaches with official football coaching qualifications who were working in West Azerbaijan province in 2023, 261 of them were selected based on Cochran's formula and stratified random method. The research tools included knowledge management questionnaireby Filios et al (2000), talent management by Ahmadi et al (2013) and the performance of coaches by Ramzaninejad et al (2013). Data analysis was done descriptively in spss23 software and structural equation modeling in smartpls3.1.1 software at a significance level of 0.05. The research results showed that the research model has a good fit and knowledge management (t=18.877; p=0.000) and talent management (t=21.621; p=0.000) have a significant impact on the performance of football coaches in West Azerbaijan province. Therefore, the better the acquisition, registration, transfer, creation and application of knowledge and the system of recruiting, education and retaining talents in football clubs, the higher the performance of the coaches will be. |
