| چکیده [English] | ||
| Introduction Environmental culture is one of the new concepts that has been proposed in environmental studies of modern societies today. The design of this concept in many environmental approaches indicates the importance of its role in the natural environment. There are various perspectives and paradigms regarding the environmental issue, but the new environmental paradigm is designed to measure beliefs, mental systems, and culture towards the environment and environmental concerns. Regarding Lorestan province, it can be said that it has unique environmental manifestations, landscapes, and ecosystems. The diverse nature with high mountains, raging rivers, and forest cover of this province all indicate the importance of this region in terms of ecology. However, this province has not been spared from global environmental dangers and threats. Considering the environmental importance of this region, the transnational nature of environmental issues and problems, and the focus of environmental sociologists on the environmental actions and culture of individuals, and on the other hand, considering the significant role of social and cultural structures as determinants affecting environmental culture, the present study seeks to answer the question of what relationship exists between sociological determinants and the urban environmental culture of women in Khorramabad? Mothodology In terms of methodology, this research is based on a deductive strategy, quantitative method, survey technique, and questionnaire tool. Deductive designs refer to designs that are carried out by adopting a deductive-hypothetical approach and determining a predetermined theoretical framework. In this research, the aim is to measure the social and cultural structures that determine and influence the bio-environmental culture through interviews with a structured questionnaire. This research seeks to examine and test the hypothesis of the relationship between social and cultural determinants and urban environmental culture of women. Given that the methodological logic of the present study is based on a deductive strategy and quantitative method, research data were collected using a survey technique and questionnaire tool and processed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The study population of this research is women aged 15-64 in Khorramabad. Given the large size of the statistical population and the impossibility of accessing all members of the community, a number of individuals who are representative of the entire community should be selected as the sample size. In this study, because the statistical community is considered a large community, in a way that its size will not affect the sample size, 384 people were selected as a statistical sample using the Cochran formula. The type of sampling in the present study is cluster and random. In this way, the city of Khorramabad was clustered based on different regions and then the final sample was randomly selected from each cluster. Findings The research findings show that there is a correlation between social health and urban environmental culture. This correlation is also statistically significant. In this way, with increasing social health, urban environmental culture increases. Regarding the results of multivariate regression, it can be said that social health is the first variable that entered the model and has the greatest relationship with urban environmental culture. Also, the cultural consumption variable is a stronger predictor than other variables. The standardized beta coefficient indicates the net effects of the variables on urban environmental culture. The t-value and its significance level also indicate the relative importance of the presence of each variable in the model. Accordingly, the variables that entered the model have a statistically significant effect in explaining changes in urban environmental culture. As can be seen in the multivariate regression table, the correlation coefficient of the stepwise regression model of the variables examined for explaining urban environmental culture is equal to 0.413. In fact, the proportion of the variance of the urban environmental culture variable explained by the research variables is 0.41 percent. The F-ratio indicates that the research regression model is a suitable model for explaining the dependent variable. In other words, the research variables are able to explain the changes in the dependent variable. Discussion and Conclusion Based on the research results, it can be said that urban environmental culture, which is the source of social action, is determined in relation to the social and cultural determinants of social health, cultural consumption, social trust, health-oriented lifestyle, social responsibility, and media consumption. On the other hand, most environmental issues are directly or indirectly the consequences of urban environmental culture and are manifested in the form of environmental actions or behaviors. Accordingly, policymaking based on understanding the important and guiding relationship between urban environmental culture and the social and cultural determinants affecting it, and more importantly, the synergy of the two, is very necessary. In fact, policymaking based on social and cultural structures in order to strengthen and develop urban environmental culture can treat many environmental problems and put them on the path of development and improvement, and lead to environmental protection and territorial sustainability for today's and future generations. In short, it can be said that important and influential social and cultural structures of social health, health-oriented lifestyle, cultural consumption, social trust, and social responsibility play a decisive role in the quality of urban environmental culture of women as half of society, and urban community-oriented planning and policies, relying on environmental strategies and tactics centered on women, can provide the basis for improving the quality of urban environmental culture and promoting the environmental culture of the urban foundation. | ||
