| چکیده [English] | ||
| The present study was conducted with the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of virtual education in the second year of secondary education in Bushehr province. The research was descriptive-survey and applied research in terms of its implementation method. The research population consisted of teachers (1842 individuals) and students (245,697 individuals). The sample size included 317 teachers and 384 students, selected by stratified random sampling based on the Morgan and Krejcie tables. For data collection, a researcher-developed 49-item closed-ended questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale was used. The questionnaire’s validity was confirmed through face, content (CVI = 0.81), and construct validity, and its reliability was verified using Cronbach’s alpha method (α = 0.91). The results of the one-sample t-test indicated that, given the calculated alpha error for the t-test at the significance level of p ≤ 0.05, it can be inferred with 95% confidence that the implementation of ICT-based education is feasible, and that the virtual education delivered thus far in schools has been effective at the same level of confidence. With respect to the dimensions examined, all components were evaluated above the average level by respondents, except for the “objectives” component within the effectiveness dimension. Furthermore, the results of the independent-two-sample t-test revealed no significant difference between the mean scores of teachers and students regarding the feasibility of ICT-based education and the effectiveness of virtual education (p ≥ 0.05). Consequently, it can be concluded that this research presents significant findings that can serve as a practical guide for the future implementation of such education programs in the education system for planners and implementers of educational programs. | ||
