| چکیده | ||

| چکیده [English] | ||
| In this research, the structural, electronic, magnetic, and optical properties of ternary half-Heusler alloys are investigate based on density functional theory calculations. The electronic structure results showed that both TiAgMg and ScAgMg compounds exhibit metallic behavior in both spin orientations. Magnetic analysis demonstrates the magnetic property of TiAgMg is greater than that of ScAgMg, and due to its magnetic nature, this alloy has a total magnetic moment (2 µB/f.u.) that strictly follows the Slater–Pauling rule. Thermodynamic assessment confirms the chemical stability o the studied compounds showed that the TiAgMg compound has suitable stability. Mechanical and elastic evaluation prove that both alloys satisfy Born stability criteria. However, TiAgMg, due to its higher values of elastic constants, mechanical moduli, and Debye temperature, exhibits greater mechanical stability and hardness than ScAgMg. Investigation of the optical properties of optical anisotropy of these two compounds shows that the TiAgMg compound exhibits good performance in the calculation of optical properties, and this compound can be a suitable candidate for use as an absorber of waves | ||
