| Abstract | ||
| A B S T R A C T The present study was conducted in a mixed and exploratory manner with the aim of designing a model and validating the Open University ranking criteria in accordance with international standards. The statistical population in the qualitative section included scientific documents and 19 academic and organizational experts who were selected using purposive sampling. In the quantitative section, the statistical population included faculty members of Sharif University of Technology, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Science and Technology, Khajeh Nasir al-Din Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Non-Profit Iranian University, Mehr Alborz University, Quran and Hadith Sciences, and Payam Noor University of Tehran, from whom 213 people were selected using sample size calculation in structural equation modeling and stratified random sampling method. The data collection tools in the qualitative section included interviews and content analysis, and in the quantitative section, a researcher-made questionnaire derived from the calculated indicators was used to measure the internal and external validity of the model. The validity of the tool in the qualitative section was examined through alignment with the background and participants, and reliability was examined through accurate recording of the research process. In the quantitative part, validity was measured using content and construct validity and reliability was measured using Cronbach's alpha and composite coefficients. The data analysis method in the qualitative part included content analysis with Maxqda-V2018 software and in the quantitative part included descriptive and inferential statistics with Spss-V23 and Smart Pls-V3 software. The findings showed that the Open University ranking criteria included management, infrastructure, educational, consulting and support, research, environmental criteria, and student and graduate achievements. Finally, based on the identified dimensions, the research model was designed and its external and internal validity was examined, and the results indicated that the designed model had appropriate validity. | ||
