| چکیده | ||

| چکیده [English] | ||
| In the Islamic worldview, the attainment of Hayat Tayyebah (the good and virtuous life) depends on the realization of two fundamental principles: Tawhid (monotheism) and ‘Adl (justice). Tawhid refers to the regulation of the relationship between humans and God, while ‘Adl signifies the regulation of relationships among human beings. A review of Islamic jurisprudential texts, traditions, and intellectual doctrines reveals that justice in Islam is grounded on four central pillars: truth-orientation, fairness, social control, and human dignity. This study, aiming to explain the spatial manifestations of Islamic justice in urban planning, seeks to conceptualize the spatial translation of these principles within the physical and social dimensions of the city. Accordingly, four geographical criteria—the right to the city, spatial balance, self-regulation, and empowerment—are defined and reinterpreted as concrete reflections of Islamic justice in urban space. These criteria interact dynamically, each being necessary but not sufficient on its own for achieving spatial justice in the Islamic city. The research paradigm is critical, its nature fundamental, its strategy argumentative, and its approach qualitative. Ultimately, this study endeavors to present a conceptual framework for understanding the relationship between Islamic justice and the spatial structure of the city, thereby paving the way for rethinking contemporary theories of urban justice and Islamic city models. | ||
