چکیده
Technology has drastically changed our academic lives in the 21st century. The challenge as teachers and
researchers in the field of language education is to prepare both teachers and students with new literacies
and competencies. Terminology such as ‘digital literacy’, ‘ICT literacy’, ‘eliteracy’, ‘computer literacy’,
‘multiple literacies’, etc. are explained by researchers [1], and recommended by different reports [2-3] for
the successful integration of technology in the process of effective language learning and teaching. Based
on the literature, this integration has become a critical area for research line education and applied linguistics
in the last decade. Since the first application of the term ‘Computer-Assisted Language Learning’ in the
1980s until adopting ‘Technology-Enhanced Language Learning (TELL)’, and emerging advanced and
high-tech tools such as ‘Virtual Reality (VR)’ and ‘Robot-Assisted Language Learning (RALL)’ many
scholars have emphasized the applications of technology in language education.

فناوری زندگی دانشگاهی ما را در قرن بیست و یکم به شدت تغییر داده است. چالش معلمان و محققان در زمینه آموزش زبان، آماده کردن معلمان و دانش آموزان با سوادها و شایستگی های جدید است. اصطلاحاتی مانند «سواد دیجیتال»، «سواد فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات»، «سواد»، «سواد رایانه»، «سواد چندگانه» و غیره. توسط محققان [1] توضیح داده شده و توسط گزارش های مختلف [2-3] برای ادغام موفقیت آمیز فناوری در فرآیند یادگیری و آموزش موثر زبان توصیه می شود. مستقر
در ادبیات، این ادغام در دهه گذشته به یک منطقه حیاتی برای آموزش خط تحقیقاتی و زبان‌شناسی کاربردی تبدیل شده است. از زمان اولین کاربرد واژه "یادگیری زبان به کمک کامپیوتر" در دهه 1980 تا زمان استفاده از "آموزش زبان پیشرفته با فناوری (TELL)" و ابزارهای پیشرفته و پیشرفته مانند "واقعیت مجازی (VR)" و "ربات" بسیاری از محققان بر کاربردهای فناوری در آموزش زبان تاکید کرده اند.
