چکیده [English] | ||
Given the accumulation of information, experiences, and theoretical frameworks in the field of educational sports in schools, the present study aims to conduct a scientometric analysis of the existing knowledge to discover both tangible and intangible patterns in this scientific domain. This applied scientometric research was conducted using a mixed-methods approach (quantitative-qualitative) and employed methods such as performance analysis, citation network analysis, and content analysis. For mapping the scientific landscape, software such as Publish or Perish, Excel, VOSviewer, RStudio, and MAXQDA were used. The research population comprised 1612 articles, of which 387 articles were selected as the sample following a two-stage document screening process. The findings indicate that multiple research trajectories have aimed to provide understanding and insights regarding educational sports in schools. Since 2013, there has been an exponential growth of over 200% in scientific productions in this field. Performance and citation analyses show that authors and information sources from developed countries are leading in producing, collaborating, and publishing scientific documents in this field .According to the analysis results, the top studies in this scientific field have focused on topics such as determining and evaluating strategic policies and operational programs, assessing and evaluating the models and educational content used, as well as evaluating and empowering teachers. The information and results of these studies can be instrumental for researchers and officials involved in school sports. | ||
