| Abstract | ||
| The main objective of this study is to determine the relationship between consumption of cultural goods and quality of life among Golestan dwellers. Statistical population of the research is Golestan Province dwellers. According to official statistics the population was estimated to be 1118660 people in 2013. Using Cochran formula and PPS smpling method, a sample consisting of 400 people were selected from the population. Considering variables’ levels of measurement, the study used descriptive and inferential statistical techniques for data analysis. The results imply that, there is a significant relationship between quality of life and consumption of audiovisual and written goods. Furthermore, through a regression analysis, it confirms that two aspects of the independent variable, including consumption of written goods and consumption of religious goods, along with background variables such as age and the level of education, affect quality of life. | ||
